Paul Candland
Managing Member
Paul is the Board of Directors at Yamaha Corporation and Dentsu Inc. Paul has been the President of Asia at The Walt Disney Company since July 2014. Mr. Candland has been President of The Walt Disney Company (Japan) Ltd. since June 1, 2007. He served as the Managing Director of The Walt Disney Company (Japan) Ltd. since April, 2002. He has been with The Walt Disney Company (Japan) Limited for almost a decade, joined as General Manager of the Disney Store chain. He has worked in Japan for the last 15 years and is fluent in Japanese. He served as the Managing Director of Disney ABC International Television and Disney Channel Japan, where he was responsible for launching Disney Channel Japan in 2003. Prior to joining Walt Disney Company Japan, Mr. Candland was at Pepsi-Cola Company for over ten years from 1987 to 1998. In 1994, he was named President of Okinawa Pepsi-Cola and subsequently served as the Japan representative for Pepsi-Cola International. Mr. Candland is a graduate of Brigham Young University and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance. He earned a Masters Degree from Pennsylvania State University.
Shin Koyamada
Managing Member
Shin Koyamada, originally from Japan and based in Los Angeles for over two decades, is a multifaceted individual excelling as an actor, producer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He rose to prominence with notable roles in Hollywood blockbusters such as "The Last Samurai" and Disney's "Wendy Wu Homecoming Warrior," garnering worldwide acclaim and significant box office success. For over 20 years, Shin has produced numerous films, shows, comics and other contents through his production company Shinca Entertainment. In addition to his acting career, Koyamada has demonstrated his entrepreneurial prowess as CEO of Shinca Group, overseeing diverse business ventures spanning the USA and Japan. He also leads Glogion Consulting Group, offering strategic advice to startups and Fortune Global 500 companies. Koyamada's philanthropic endeavors are equally impactful, as evidenced by his co-founding and chairing of the Koyamada International Foundation (KIF), dedicated to women's empowerment, youth leadership, disaster relief, and citizen diplomacy. He also serves as Board Chairman of Guardian Girls International (GGI), spearheading global gender-based violence prevention programs, and as Board Chairman of the Japan-United States Sister Cities Association (JUSSCA), fostering people-to-people ties between Japan and the United States. Through his diverse pursuits, Koyamada continues to make a profound impact on both the entertainment industry and global philanthropy.
